d.id Upgrades its Decentralized Identity Protocol .bit with RGB++ on CKB

d.id, a decentralized identity protocol under the d.id umbrella, announced the completion of the RGB++ upgrade for .bit. Leveraging the homomorphic binding feature of CKB, .bit has become a layer-one DID asset on Bitcoin to serve the identity needs of the Bitcoin ecosystem users. This upgrade enables .bit to be compatible with CKB’s Spore digital asset protocol at the asset level, improving compatibility with CKB ecosystem Dapps and transaction liquidity. The DOB asset trading platform Omiga will be the first second-layer network platform to support .bit transactions, and will also be listed on major RGB++ trading platforms in the future.
